In the news as of late, the new iPhone is one of the biggest subjects being talked about. And why wouldn’t it be, it’s one of the best cell phones out on the market. The brand new iPhone 4S was unveiled October 13th, 2011. It is one of the most anticipated arrivals out of all of Apples products. The new phone comes complete with the newest iOS 5 (Apple iPhone’s operating system), new and improved software and hardware, and a few other things. Here is a list of some of the biggest changes since the iPhone 4. One of the best features about the iphone is that is able to record your voice for those situations where you aren’t able to type. You can use an iphone transcription directly from your mobile phone by using iphone or ipad apps that will instanctly and conveniently record your voice. All this is like having your very own transcription service.
iOS 5 – The newest iPhone / iPad / iPod operating system. It came out when the new iPhones came out. This update adds a lot of new features to the existing ones iPhone users love. The new message center will alert you when you have a message or event pending. Notifications will never be the same again, in a good way. Direct Twitter integration is also in the new iOS. Tweet straight from your phone without another app to log into. Other changes include a better user-friendly Safari, iCloud (wireless sync to your computer, new and improved camera app, Reminders, and iMessage. iMessage is cool because you can chat with any mobile Apple device via text message.
Siri – No one really knows what the “S” in iPhone 4S means. One possibility could be that it stands for Siri. Siri is the new voice activation software that comes on every iPhone 4S. Basically, you can talk to your phone directly and it will help you make decisions. For instance, asking “should I take an umbrella with me today?” will result in Siri bringing up the weather and making a decision based on the information it gathered. You can do this for anything, whether it be for dinner plans, or if you’re asking about the football game you missed, it can do it all. Truly one of the more revolutionary features that comes with the iPhone 4S.
Improved hardware – Increased RAM (random access memory) storage, available memory, dual core processor, improved cameras and a more impressive screen. Making these changes will allow the iPhone 4S to trump the existing iPod/iPhone’s, and will not leave you disappointed. These changes will make the new iOS 5 run smoother and faster. All of this will make the usage and browsing on your phone better than you have previously experienced it.
